I am guessing that everyone on this site during the workday is either retired or unemployed. Personally, I am retired and loving every minute. What’s your status that allows you to be on here during the day?

-- 2014 will be a different year...at least for me it will.

Retired and too cold in the shop,we just went through 3 days of heavy snow/freezing rain .

Gene, my wife says I have become lazy. I say I have become retired. :-)

distrbd, all I have to say is in CA today it’s 68 degrees.

NOT retired, yet. I do, however, happen to work nghts. 7 pm to 7:10 am. 7 out of every 14 days. Mornings are my evenings.

The rest of you working stiffs just have it backwards, to me….

vwerdesardog,40°F is spring/summer weather in Canada.lol.
DKV,I’ll switch places if you are willing. what would you wear in 68°,?when I go to my shop I have long johns ,on and 3 layers of sweatshirts .

Retired Sept. 28 2013. I was in the shop most of the day. Like DKV in Sacramento enjoying the 68 degree weather. Did you notice we had 9 more seconds of daylight today compared to yesterday?

Forced time off for the next two weeks. Not my idea of prime vacation time but I’m not complaining.

Self employed, leaning towards retiring, but my wife says I have been semi-retired since I got rid of full time employees 20 years ago ;-)
