I’m about 40 miles North of Huntsville in Pulaski, TN, but I used to live in Huntsville, graduated from Butler High, and Athens College. Also, attended UCLA. That’s the University of Calhoun, Longside the Airport.

Woodmaker,

I am not from the area, but I have a friend that lives in New Market, AL that has a sawmill and a kiln. He saws and dries and sells hardwood lumber. He is a good guy to know if you need reasonably priced wood for projects. His website is www.hobbyhardwoodalabama.com.

Danny I’ve been to see him many times, he has some great prices for sure, and he and the wife are good people.

Good deal, Mike. I visited him this September to see his kiln. I learned a lot from the trip, and now have my kiln up and running.

My daughter lives in Fayetteville, TN. The next time I am down there a visit to Hobby Hardwood will have to be on the agenda.
