Just looking for opinions on this sander as I have never looked into this type of sander. It is like new and complete along with the manual.

It was a gift so I have no complaints either way but I do need, value and welcome the opinions of my fellow woodworkers so I will know what I have. larry

I have the same one, but branded from Harbor Freight. If you use the largest drum, you can stall the machine. Could certainly be powerful. But, for the $90 I paid, I can deal with it.

When its needed its tough to find something that is better suited than this tool as you have the option to do the spindle or belt, whereas most similar sanders are the spindle only.

When I was looking into them last spring I was hardpressed to see any negative reviews on this tool, a rare feat considering the number of reviews that are out there.

Viking, Mine does not have the belt option as far as I can see but I’ll still put it to use. larry
