I will be happy to post instructions and pictures on how to build this rocker.
I have given many classes, in my shop, for this project.
I have the full text instructions and patterns.

If I get enough interest I will be happy to share with fellow Lumberjocks all I know about building this special rocking chairs.

I would be interested in finding time for that after the first of the year. I’ll keep an eye out for this thread.

bkap:

I’ll be building a ‘Hal Taylor’ rocker, starting mid-January – I’m upgrading to a Clearvue DC system currently.

I’ve corresponded with Hal, and have purchased his DVD, Templates, and his extensive documentation. Having said this, I would appreciate any and all information you can share.

Thanks.

I would love to build one of your rockers. I have seen them in person at the Sandy Expo Center and have talked with you and your wife. I also would love to get the templates…..

If I start it would after the first of the year. Too much going on now.

Hal makes a nice rocker. Take a look at some of mine at www.kappelusa.com for some new ideas.

I was telling my wife TODAY that 2014 will be the year I build a rocker. I eagerly await your tutorial.
