Hi I was wondering what everyone here thought about the Jet jps-10ts cast iron wings 30 inch rip. I have the chance to buy a used one for $350.00 that is in almost new condition. Is that a good deal for a used Jet table saw?

If the saw is in decent shape and runs, go for it.

Sounds like a nice deal to me if it was in nice shape. Get the alignment dead on, and buy a good blade for…..you’ll be set!

p.s.: pics required! ;-)

Big Tony, thats too good of a deal to pass up. If you don’t get it you’ll be kicking yourself in the a** for the next couple of years. If you decide down the road to upgrade your saw you shouldn’t have any problem getting your money back for this jet and it has cast iron wing. I hope you get it !

How many people did it take to carry it to the new location?

Well it took four of us to put it in the truck and then I disassembled it to make it loose some weight in the back of the truck when I got it home. Because there was only two of us to unload it. Also wanted to clean it up a bit. This saw weighs in at about 330 pounds.

Congrats. I saw this a little late…..but that’s a steal. I bought it when they first came out for around $900. That saw goes for over $1300 now.

Only complaint: the arbor lock button is a pain. I just use two wrenches. Not a biggie. Get yourself a zero clearance insert….you’ll be cookin with bacon. Enjoy!
