This is an old one showing it’s age just a bit.

The knob appears to be the original rosewood. Not sure about the tote. It looks like the black lacquer finish of later types and also has some ripples on the top that look like machining marks.
Whatever they are, they are both in excellent condition with no cracks, splits, breaks or repairs anywhere that I could find.

The cutting iron is a full length replacement iron. The rounded top indicates that is probably a type 19 vintage? It is sharp and cuts well.

The base casting, frog and lever cap have the ‘S’ foundry mark.

There is some very shallow pitting on the corrugated sole, the frog and the lateral lever.

Should make for a real good user.

Asking $40 + shipping. It will fit in a medium flat rate box so shipping will be $12.35 or less.
