Topic tags/keywords: tools clamp

Hi fellow Lumberjocks,

You all have done me well in the past with help identify my tools. I had the unique opportunity to purchase the lot next next to mine with the old white shed on it. Inside was 50+ years of an a fellow woodworker who passed way in 2007. I sure wish I could have known that man and learned from him and to have him show me about all his jigs and tools. So here are my next two tools that I need help with….
First one is some type of clamp. The other ones seem like very large cribbage pins!

The items in the second picture are bobbins to hold thread in a knitting mill.

The first picture is a set of clamps for gluing edge banding. It’s hard to tell how large or small the items in the bottom photo are but they look like a jewelers ring sizing tool. I have no idea what else they could be.

Nipple pinchers and anal plugs. Next question.

the first pic? clamp spinners. ( used to extract secret information from reluctant informers ) – maybe?

Uncanny, now I know why you were sent to the corner. I still don’t understand why I was.

Cool, what else did you find? Any pictures of the shed the way you found it?

This reminds me of that show: What’s in the Barn, where they find old motorcycles buried in junk and covered in dust. In fact, the dustier the better.

The garage represents someone’s life that took years to get that cluttered. Every corner has something to see, a project waiting to be finished, tools passed down from his dad, odd materials you can’t buy at Home Depot and a collection of stuff with stories to tell. I love it.

Those edge clamps are in good condition. Have you checked to see what they are worth? my guess….50.00 pr.

I don’t have a clue what anal plugs go for ….sorry.

Have your say...
