Hi, Im looking for wood for an outdoor table I want to make. The table Im going to make is roughly 4ft long by 4ft wide by roughly 1 inch thick.. I have the ability to join boards of any widths (preferably 6” to 10” wide). I do not have the ability to plane. I was wondering if anyone had any extra Teak, Cumaru, White Oak, Mahogany or any other wood that is suitable for outdoors. Thanks in advance.

I want to build a guitar, but I don’t have any book matched Brazilian rosewood, ebony, cocobolo, or Sitka spruce, so I was wondering if anyone had any extra they can send to me. Thanks in advance.

I have just harvested 20 osage orange trees with sizable trunks and relatively straight (for hedge). This stuff will outlast any of the above mentioned woods by at least a factor of 2 no matter where you put it. They will not be sawed up until as late as March because the ground has to be deep frozen to retrieve them, but if it will do you any good, I’ll cut the size you want and ship. The stuff is outrageously heavy so shipping my be prohibitive. PM me.

I’ve got 220 linear feet of 5/4×6 Ipe decking (finished to 1” x 5 1/2”), mostly 10’ and 12’ long with one 8’ piece. Ready to go at a good price for the lot. Like Dan says, the shipping would make it worth a drive to NW Indiana!! Tough wood to work, but if you’re over 40 you’ll probably not need to build another table in your life.
