Hi there ladies and gents

I’m new to Lumberjocks so I thought I’d introduce myself and say hello.

My names Jered, I’m a 24 year old professional bespoke cabinet maker so I hope I can be of help to some people as well as gleaning tips and tricks from others too. I studied Furniture design and craft at college, and I’ve been doing it since I left 3 or 4 years ago! I work in a small (but well renowned) workshop in Oxfordshire in England with 3 other cabinet makers… which is a nice thing to have 80 combined years of experience to lean on sometimes!
I’m very much a machines kind of guy, although I’d never do dovetails any other way than by hand! I believe in the highest quality in the shortest time possible.

Aside from cabinet making, I’m dead keen on cycling!

Welcome to LJs – and as for being a machine guy – we can fix that. (Nothing wrong with that, btw)
