I am looking for some nice Claro walnut 5/4” thick at least 7” wide. Lengths may vary. I am also searching for European Walnut, curly walnut, quarter cut cherry, beech, apple and pear. Many places want that minimum and that adds up in a hurry. So just send me an email if you have some thing reasonable you think I may want. A few bd ft to 10 or 20 bd ft will suffice. Thank you.

Take a look here No minimums, great prices, awesome selection and GREAT people. I bought 20bf of black walnut from them a few years ago and with shipping came to about $8bf. Not too bad considering that in CA walnut will sell for almost twice that.

I need to go to the Indy area in the near future. Anyone know where a guy can find some nice figured wood around Indianapolis?

I would use “Woodfinder”, it will find sources in specific areas. Google Woodfinder and go to their site.
