I see iphone cases on Etsy. A quick google search shows me dimensions of an iphone-

As anyone tried to build one? Thinking about trying it, but would love to hear words of experience.

yes Dan I did. I built and iPhone out of wood just like you might expect a woodworker would do. I made it for my wife as a Christmas gift two years ago. Here’s a picture of it.

I know it looks pretty real in the photo, but it is downloaded paper cutout. I made the core from wood. I couldn’t get the actual iPhone I ordered for her in time for Christmas, so I gave here this one. The nice thing about it is that you never have to (or can) talk to anybody on it and others can’t get in touch with you either.

PS I know you are talking about the case and not the phone, but I couldn’t resist.
