Sawn last month,, stickered it and sealed the ends with anchorseal, 200 bf. mostly 10” to 18” wide 8’- 9” long. Sawn at 1 3/8” thick

I don’t think Illinois is part of Chestnut’s natural range or maybe because there is nothing but cornfields as far as the eye can see. I really don’t know much about the chestnut blight or how it spreads but i was more than pleasantly surprised when I sawed it open and there were no worm holes!
