I’ve just competed construction on a rotary phase generator that should be good for 15hp. Though I don’t have any three phase equipment. Does this Grizzly G9957 seem like a good deal? I know nothing about this in terms of reliability.

Assuming the bearings, motor, and trunnions are in good shape that is a very good price. I paid $600 for a 3 HP Grizzly 1023 that need some R&R. I had to replace the fence and complete clean and lube the thing. If it has a Biesemeyer style fence that is in good shape it would be worth it. Only downside is finding common blades in 12”.

It looks nice, sent the anonymous seller an email to get more info/pics. After doing more research, the saw seems kind of lightweight at 542lbs. for a 7.5hp 12” saw, I expected it to be more than 700lbs. based on it’s capacity. The Grizzly website still has some info and it was last on sale for $1495, who know how long ago. Waiting on more info from the seller, but it could make a nice addition!
