Hello everyone,
I’ve been a lurker for sometime now, I can’t thank you all enough for for all the tips/ tricks I’ve learned in that time.
I’ve been a contractor my whole life, but last year I bought a house and needed to put in vanitys. So rather then give up my first born to buy some I opted to build some. It took some time but they came out right ( I’ll post pics when I learn how) now I find that I love do finish work. It was a ” where have you been all my life moment. I’ve since started reading all I can and trying new things. I have also started building a workshop. I look forward to learning from you and sharing what I know.

Welcome, GoodCat. Always good to see new shop pics, looking foward to seeing your setup. And congrats on the cabinet build, I’m sure it was a rewarding experience.

Welcome to LJ. I’ve only been here for a short while, but I love it. Wish I would have found it sooner.

Welcome to LJs, MrGoodCat. I’m sure it won’t be long before you will be helping others with your experience as well. BTW, I like your signature line—very cool!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Smitty my vanity pics are up on my projects I would love any insights as I have a 24’ wall of 8’ high built in cabinets to do for the wife. As for the shop pics that may be a while I want to do it RIGHT once. Waho you are correct although I just got a book on furniture making for my birthday as well as a block plane (my first) so who knows. Jim I’m already hooked I’ve been reading as many post as I can and trying new things on the job. It’s cost me a bit of time, but I’m learning and adding to the quality of my work.
