I have a great desire to build one of these:

No rational reason to build it- no little ones on my list anymore. But it just looks cool! Some kid somewhere will love it.

I usually just build whatever is rolling around in my head, but I am not quite good enough to come up with the animal profiles for this. Any ideas where I could find a pattern to scroll these? I can come up with 3 or 4 various animal profiles just from my files, but they would not all be in the same style.

I think your best bet would be scroll saw patterns. You could try the www.scrollsawer.com site and get some ideas.

Animal Crackers. HeHeHe
MIKE

Oh, what book were they in? I cannot remember. One of the Patrick Spielman scrollsaw books had lots of animal cutouts . Check and see what your public library has in his books.
