I just recently relocated to Denver from Minneapolis. In Minnesota, lumber and sawyers were plentiful….times were good, the shop was full. I knew I was in trouble on the drive into Denver and not seeing any trees! Anyone on these boards have a good contact for hardwood in the Denver area?

It’s a little bit north of you, but there is Sears and Trostel in Fort Collins. They’ve got a huge selection of wood. Tends to be a little pricy for my taste, but I’m cheap.

Marcus, I’d love to see an answer to this too!

Take a look at CSWoods. I have dealt with the owner located in Gardner and he was very accomodating. They have a warehouse and showroom in Denver.

Austin Hardwoods can have good prices on hardwoods. They supply a bunch of places in southern Colorado. The biggest issue is going to be there are no hardwood trees here. Millions of acres of pine and aspen but nothing considered a hardwood.
