Hello Jocks. This is Ripp from Parma Ohio. I am in the process of remodeling an unattached 2 car garage into my Dreamshop. Here is my idea… I would like to make cabinets with doors. To utilize the door faces I would like to use pegboard, so there will be extra weight on the doors. Is poplar okay to make rails and stiles with thru saddle joint glued and pinned? (can’t do thru mortises now) Remember it’s only a garage workshop. Maybe full width 1×2 for a little more strength. Thinking of using laminate floor foam to back the inside of the door to keep dust out of the cabs. Maybe some doors without foam so as to use both inside and outside for hooks. Right now I’m running wire insulating and drywalling. Cabinets are six months away but I thought I’d post now to get any feedback. Thanks, Ripp
