Hi everyone,

I bought the CV 1800 Clearvue Cyclone back almost 2 years ago. I am just getting around to putting it up now. It is the original style with the bare MDF and not the new painted version. Any of you have the similar unit and painted it? If so what kind of paint/stain did you use?

Thanks
Dan

I have that same unit and haven’t painted it, but since it is MDF I think you could use whatever paint you want on it. Get ready for some serious air movement, btw…

Mine is not painted either, that;s fine with me.
On MDF you could use any oil or latex you want but I would use a primer first

Thanks Gentlemen,
Bert, I was planning on a primer and I got to come up with a way to seal the grooves where the clear PU rests in.

Paul, I am told the thing can move air. Can’t wait to get it going.
