I own a HTC2000 mobile base rated at 500 pound capacity and would like to know if anyone knows if this rating is accurate. I want to put my Grizzly GO500 jointer on it and it weighs in at 461 pounds. Yes or No? Thanks.

Funny thing you should ask! Mine just broke. I have a PM 14” bandsaw on it and one of the levers for raising/lowering broke:

Seems cheap to have a piece of plastic raise and lower 400-500 lbs. I bought it in July, 2010. I also have a Woodcraft brand with has aluminum levers and no sign of problems.

Hope this helps.

HDTV bases are POSs. The one I got with a CL BS buy is crap.
