Topic tags/keywords: question

There’s a thread on Jet clamps about a great black Friday deal, as well as on Irwin clamps at Ace. I thought some might appreciate it if we had a thread that lists great Black Friday deals in general. What you got?

home depot will have this kit available for $99 that I’ll be going to get. Thanks for posting the rockler ad. I’d looked for that and the woodcraft one, but hadn’t found anything yet

Lowes has a Bosch 1/2 lithium ion drill for $99 with 2 batteries. This is a light weight drill with a lot of power and better than average battery life with a heavy duty charger.

I am looking for a plane too, but wondering what “Select African Ebony Hand Planes” means?

Guess we’ll see on Friday, but the one I really wanted is Rosewood, so probably SOL.

They look exactly like those made in India planes you can buy on ebay for much cheaper.

Anyone have experience with this roller stand from Sears? It will be on sale for $12.50 on Black Friday, which seems like a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, it looks to be the same as Harbor Freight's which could be had even cheaper with a coupon and doesn’t have the best reviews.

I just ordered the Dewalt 20 volt 1/4 inch impact for $80 including shipping off Amazon. I don’t know why it was so cheap, but the vendor said it was new, not a refurb, and they had positive feedback so….It was $119 plus tax at Home Depot.

BUT – Home Depot has a two pack of 20 volt 3 amp hour batteries for $119 plus tax in their holiday gift section. I just paid $99 for ONE last month.
