My mother inlaw has asked for a woodworking magazine subscription for christmas. She likes to restore old furniture and build simple furniture (step stools, boxes, benches, etc.) Anyone have any suggestions on a magazine?

Thanks in advance.

DIY Magazine has a lot of the kind of projects I think she might be interested in.

It’s more about the work and less about the shop.
It covers more than just wood working, like gardening, plumbing and basic electrical stuff, but there is a lot of wood working projects in it too.

I like Woodsmith, Wood and Fine Woodworking. Out of these three I think Wood, Woodsmith then Fine Woodworking in that order for what she is looking for. I like Family Handyman also but it is not just woodworking.

I second family handyman. Has a lot of more basic and functional projects.

Third vote for Family Handyman.
