Good morning and an early Happy Thanksgiving.

My wife has asked me to make her a sleigh bed for her Christmas present this year. I have seen a number of projects on here and I must say they are beautiful!

I am not trying to reinvent the wheel or anything but I am looking for a good set of plans to help me create a good solid bed.

Any thoughts or ideas or pictures or plans or websites etc. would be appreciated.

Thank you

Steve

Steve, Seems I remember a set of plans posted in WOOD Magazine a few years back? If so, I’m sure they are for sale from their archives. Maybe you can contact them or search their library for them?

Steve, put in a Google search for “Woodworking Plans for a sleigh bed”. There are several to choose from.

Now, when you say a sleigh bed you do mean the style of the bed not one that actually looks like a sleigh, right?
