I live in SE Wisconsin. It is a flat, plain, “rusty” part of an otherwise pretty state. Last week I visited my daughter in New Hampshire. We bummed around Dover and Portsmouth and then spent part of the day in Portland Maine. It is some of the most beautiful country I have visited. The towns were charming and the countryside was rugged and heavily forested. I hope to visit more often and would love to go out this winter and go skiing.

Glad you were able to enjoy the charm of New England. It is a beautiful region!!!

My vote for most “beautiest” goes to New Hampshire’s neighbor….
Vermont: The Green Mountain State!!! ;^)

(Disclaimer: I live in Vermont.)
