I am in the process of designing a couple of small artist lap desks and would like to find some handles for the cases. I can find the $20.00+ ones but I am looking for something for less money. Any ideas for a source?

This is just an idea but I have found nice hardware at Goodwill and other thrift stores. Nice and sometimes new jewelry boxes and cases are donated all the time. You might have to take some time to disassemble it but I think it’s worth the savings.

Luggage handles. Available through “leather findings” and “shoe findings”
suppliers who serve the shoe and luggage repair industry.

No luck there Loren. Found lots of beads, laces and stuff but no handles. These things come from somewhere, but I cannot find anything.

I went to Lee Valley’s website and searched for case handles. There seems to be a lot of options.
