I recently grabbed the Makita RT0700C palm router/trimmer and it’s been an absolute dream to work with.
I’ve been looking online and also called Makita to see if I could start getting some of the additional bases and a couple of guide bushings. The first thing I was looking at was the plunge base which was online for $99. Add that to the cost of the router and I would have been at $200 with a ways to go in order to fully outfit it with all the differend bases and guides.
I saw that Home Depot had the entire kit I sale for $239 and they have a promotion for an additional $25 off any Makita tools over $100 so I jumped on it. The kit is loaded. It includes:
1/4 in. collet (763637-1), 3/8 in. collet (763619-3), straight guide (122965-7), template guide (343577-50), dust nozzle (195559-1), wrench 13 (781039-9), wrench 22 (781011-1), plunge base for RT0700C (195563-0), tilt base set, RT0700C (195561-4), offset base set for RT0700C (195562-2), dust extracting nozzle (194733-8), template guide 16mm (344364-5), side handle 9153489-2), tool bag (831327-50), trimmer guide 9122703-7)
Needless to say I can’t wait to get it. Should be here later this week.
This is a great little router and it’s a pleasure to work with. Hope this helps.
