im not sure if this is the “right” place to do this, im a verrrrrrry amateur guitar builder…... well i built one. kinda. i was hoping maybe someone on here has experience in it. that would maybe be willing to discuss the matter with me?

Mandan,

The vast majority of luthiers are amature, some work to a very high standard indeed. You have built one that doesn’t look bad, now you know what questions to ask. All my experience is with archtops. a more stable guitar,
no cross grain bracing unless you X brace
