I have a complete set of 5 ea. 43’’ Plano Vertical Glue Press Panel Clamps. This is a great system for gluing up panels large or small. One nice feature of this system is it can mount to the wall so you don’t need to use a lot of floor space. The PLANO design provides clamping pressure on both edges and both faces of the project, creating superior quality joints and completely eliminating buckeling of panels during the glue up process. These clamps can adjust automatically to any board thickness from 0’’ up to 5” so you can really create a nice panel of any size and thickness. For more information about this clamping system go to: www.advmachinery.com

For more Pictures of system go to:

New these clamps sell for $615.00

Sale price only $400.00

Nice and clean no glue!

I clamp, and I like the idea. but pricey – even at your discounted offer price.

Have you used this system. Do the panels really come out with a perfectly flat face?

Jim yes I have used the system and it works well. If you do reviews of the system you will find lots of positive remarks from users. They are a bit pricey as you state, but at a price that offers the convenience of having the panels flat from the get go which is nice. With regular clamp you must power plane, hand plane and sand to get to a finished panel. Here lies were I am at with these. I have lots of regular clamps and have done glue ups with them in the past and have had to plane and sand so I got these clamps and eliminated all the prep work. But now I have a 38’’ Woodmaster sander and it’s easy to just run large panels threw the sander and panel flatting is a breeze (at another price of course and a lot more than these clamps). I also picked a second used table saw and would like to put on an Incra fence system (these run in the $500.00 range) in selling these clamps I can get the fence system and with the sander still have an easy way to flatten panels.

Here’s a picture of the sander / clamps in the lower right hand side of the picture.
