I have a Steel City table saw, unisaw type, and I’m wanting to build a cabinet I can store under the right wind/fence rails. It will be a cabinet on casters, because I have a small shop and need to move my saw often. The dust port comes out that side. I am a DHD (Dust Hose Dragger) so I have to disconnect every time I want dust collection on another tool. My thought is I could move the dust port to the back of the saw and make it easier to store a cabinet on that side. THe floor in the saw, slant down towards the dust port. I’m thinking I could add a piece of sheet metal inside that slopes from the right side to the middle of the existing floor, creating a shallow “V” inside the saw cabinet. Would that help any or not worth the effort?
