This question is for artists or someone who has made one of these.

My sister-in-law has started painting and seems to enjoy it. They do not have room to set up a dedicated easel in their small place, and 4 little one running around would not be good. So, I thought I would make an easel/storage box for her but am not sure how to finish the inside or how many storage slots to include.

She is liking acrylic if that matters.

So, for builders what you finish the inside of the box with, or would you leave it raw? And artists/builders, how many storage slots would you build in/want?

Laney Shaughnessy posted a couple videos on building a desktop art easel with storage here:

might find something useful there.

I saw that box in the project section. Did not know there was a video though. Thanks. That will help a lot, once I am no longer at work and can view youtube.

Have your say...
