Does anyone know anything about these chucks? I cant find reviews on them anywhere, which worries me.

Don’t know anything about this vendor … the product looks a lot like the Penn State Utility chuck sans the fancy box:

I am looking for a good multi-purpose self centering chuck. I just bought my first lathe and it just has a plate. After buying the lathe I don’t have a ton of money left so I need cost effective. I can upgrade later. Any suggestions anyone?

+1 to what Gerry said.

They’re most likely a PSI re-seller.

I like my PSI Barracuda 2, cost effective and came with several jaws in the kit.
