It seems that anymore when I want to post a project picture(s), and I have written my comment, hit photobucket, and it’s either just a blank screen, OR I have to log in…...EVERYTIME…..Then most times it won’t even come on , or let me log in…..I have refreshed my browser several times, but to no avail…..And sometimes when it does decide to work, which is not too often, it says I’m not the person logging in…..I’m tired of this, and aggrivated that this site, or whoever is overseeing Photobucket, is not doing a better job…..I’ve had p.b. for over 3 years now, and if they don’t know who I am by now, I’ll find another site….....Photobucket sucks…..!!!!!!

You can always just upload your pics from your computer.

As Tedstor said, why use Photobucket at all?

I don’t use PB. I store all my important pics on a thumb drive and/or external HD.
Sorry I can’t help.

So Rick, are you saying your normal procedure is to delete the photos from your computer once you upload them to Photobucket?

Charlie,

Yes….that’s what I have done in the past…That way I won’t clog up my puter…..Before I got a cell phone, I would take the pixs with a Kodak, download them from the puter into p.b…...I still have a few in there that way, but anymore I just use the cell phone, take the pixs, and download from the phone to the puter into a folder…But how can I get them out of p.b and into a folder on the puter…..? I’m prolly not making much sence of this, as I’m not real puter literate…....!!!!!

It just seems to me that if a person still wanted to use p.b., that it ought to work right like it did in the past…I don’t know what’s went haywire with it, but someone needs to see about getting it right…....I should not have to log in everytime…when I hit the p.b. at the bottom on the bar next to “open mini browser”, it’ll drop down, and just be blank…....

Rick, I was just taking a look at PB’s site. What I learned is that they recently overhauled their layout, and the option to download an entire album at once is not currently available. They did say they plan to add that functionality back to the site in the near future.

Thanks, Charlie…...Well, I guess that answers that question then…I knew something had to be up with that, or LJs was falling down on the job somehow…...I have pb in my toolbar, and can quickly pull it up that way, so I’ll take a look and see what I can figure out to do the download from there to the puter….(?).....I just haven’t pulled it up in a long time, cause I always just used or tried to use the one on LJs…..Thanks fro your help, Charlie.

LJ needs to catch up and use DropBox or Picassa

Mornin’ buddy,

Yea…..They need to get their act together one way or the other…...If it an’t working right, drop it, and find something else to use to store all our project pictures so we can download them onto LJs, without all the hassle…....

I don’t understand, I log into PB and can come back month later and still be logged in. Never had a problem with that, however I am finding it more and more difficult to navigate once I on. So much advertising and junk on there. I use it less and less. There is a download button on the right under “Media options”. I don’t know it you can hilite a bunch of photos and download them all at one time, have not tried it.
