Excuse the rough sketch, but if I wanted to do this

how would I go about doing it?

Would a scratch stock with a bearing underneath work?

I used my dremel with a router attachment to do some edge profiling on cabriole legs.
It turned out o.k. I’m sure there are better ways, but I just couldn’t find it at the time.
