Ah, but it does include a tenoning jig. Offer him $1150 with delivery and you might be able to lose the buyers remorse by the time the saw dies.

I actually used to own that saw also, I paid 75.00 for it on CL. It was a great little saw, I just thought it was louder than I prefer as it had a universal motor inside. But realistically, 1,200.00. Amazingly Crazy.

Yeah, always makes me wonder if a guy is just ignorant on the actual value or if he or she just hopes to take advantage of someone who may be disadvantaged.

I naively sent an email to a poster like this who had a Ridgid 14” band saw for something like 3 times its retail new price. I suggested there might be a typo in his add; what was the actual price. I was very interested as I only lived 20 minutes away.
He replied back to my email and told me to F…Off and mind my own business.

I would say this guy is just looking to screw someone.

I actually thought the $1,200 in the title was a typo, and should have been $120. But no, it was also $1200 in the message body also.
No one thats smart enough to have $1200 to spend, would be dumb enough to buy that saw.

Good for you Crank49, you should have grabbed his photo and posted using the same title and stated in the body that it was a rip off maybe it would have shown up on top of his posting when doing search.

Tedstor, you’d be surprised but even still it’s sad that the sellers is taking advantage.

Maybe his wife said that he had to sell the saw or else, and he is just making sure it will not sell. LOL
