Thanks

Isn’t that a pedestrian version of a Bat’leth

Looks like a routertable/shaper fence.

That is a Viking double fish fillet knife (for slicing 2 char or trout in parallel).

Is it metal?
Are the gray triangles independent of the black part? Do the gray triangles move?

I think a1Jim has a good answer, does the mounting hole look like it would attach to a router table with the starter pin thread?

Its plastic. It does look like a router fence but it is small, short and doesn’t have any provisions for safety. The two grey ends move independently as shown in the pic.

I was wondering if it was to set jointer knives but there wouldn’t be any need to have the ends move at all.

I know that I have one that came with my Porter cable router, I haven’t used it before, and can’t remember what operation it is used for. I can’t even remember if it came with my PC 7539 or 690?

That’s so you can affiix it to the base of the router and use the router as a laminate trimmer. Well that would be my guess anyway.

It does look like an edge guide. I googled pc edge guides and that one didn’t show up. It may be pretty old.

I know both of my routers are at least 10+ years old.

Looks like the edge guide for the PC 121 portable oscillating spindle sander. Do you have one of those?

I have that oscillating sander. They don’t make it anymore. I’ll check to see if it fits when I get home.

That’s what it’s for, I was going through all of my PC tools to see if anything referenced an edge guide that looked like this. I don’t have a 121 any more, sold it for a table mounted unit. Apparently I forgot to sell the edge guide with it.
