Hi,
I bought this old jointer at a Habitat Restore store in Raleigh, NC today. It works fine, the fence is kind of flimsy, it could use new blades and maybe a belt. I have looked all over this machine and can't find a name brand of any sort. There are 6 numbers on the right side of the feed table they are 24 31 30….The motor driving this this is huge, I mean it's a beast. I paid $75 bucks for the cabinet, jointer and motor. It's very solid, the blades are 4" long and there are 3 of them.
This is the front.
This is the back.
In case any viewers of this post are close to Raleigh, NC they have a huge full size lathe mounted to a nice desk for $250.00 and what looked like a old "shaper" similar to a router for $150.00, but doesn't use a collet system. I couldn't find the bits for the shaper, the motor was in tact and belt driven.
