My son came home with Ram Horns, and he wants me to make powder horns out of them.
Anyone have any info or experiance making Black Powder Horns. Will need leads on brass tips, etc etc.

I get my brass tip at the possibles shop in Rosswell, nm There are many good books out thereone i think the name is Making the Traditional Powder Horn its a good start.

Gar , Thank you for your reply, I don’t think these horns are fresh, some of the blogs I have read say about smell, these don’t seem to have the dead toenail smell. I’ll soak them a few days and check again.
