Just finished a toy box for a niece. Has two coats of satin white enamel on it. SWMBO is gonna paint some “girly” stuff on it. Should I add a clear top coat? If yes, what?

Thanks

It depends on what she’s going to use to paint on the “girly stuff”. If she uses artist’s oil paints, that’s good enough. If she uses enamel craft paints, yes it should be sealed to protect the designs. I use poly sprayed on. Oil based will yellow it, water based will not. If you use water based, be careful because reds may bleed a bit.
