I’m trying to do something new with a bathroom cabinet. One of my veneering books has a few projects where the veneer grain follows along each side, I could have sworn they called it waterfalling but internet searches come up negative and I can’t find the book I first saw it in. Anyone know if I’m using the right term? I just wanted to see some decent ideas before I start putting this thing together. Thanks for any replies

Thank you for the reply, I’m am definitely using the wrong term. I was looking for the design in which the grain flows from one side to another. Like the top of the cabinet flows down onto the front with the grain pattern matching the whole way

That’s what I call waterfall but I’m not sure I’m correct. Check out these two projects. Are these what you mean?

Your terminology is correct. It is called waterfall effect. Here is a picture of waterfall effect on my desk.
