Can’t be a good radio alarm or a good saw.

Sounds like a cool feature if you can listen to music while cutting wood at the same time. Maybe if you change blades it will change the station.

This speaks to just how nuanced the Boston accent can be. (CL)assic.

That’s a kick! Exactly what my twin boys called it. We thought they were the only ones to call it that.

My favorite part is the fact that it says right on the side RADIAL SAW in the picture but they still put Radio…awesome

I wonder if it gets better reception cutting at 45%.

There was a recent posting on our local Craig’s List for a “Squirrel Saw” for sale. I had to check it out. There was a picture of an ancient scroll saw. I replied to inquire about the squirrel saw and was told by the wife, who placed the ad, that her husband had told her to list the saw and she misunderstood what he said. Got a good laugh from that one! It was an interesting old saw too!

I see them called table saws all the time, because they have a table…

That reminds me of the time I sent one of my workers to the store to get some pine shelving. He calls back and says, “Charles, they ain’t got no tine shavings.” It doesn’t surprise me; I once sent the same guy to the hardware store to get a building stretcher. It was 45 minutes before he called back that time.

Got my attention because that’s exactly what our oldest son used to call mine. (I still use the same old saw)

Well, to tell one on myself, when I was in 8th grade health class, back in the days of one room schools, (well almost) I had to write a paper on rheumatic fever. I called it romantic fever. The teach shared it with the class. Took me a long time to live that down.

I used to see these ads all the time in free print classifieds
that took the ads over the phone. I still see them in
the Pennysaver.
