jewelers screwdriver set that has “real” handles. I am tired of installing small hardware with my finger tips. I’ve looked almost everywhere and all I find are the metal ridged shafts. The smallest phillips bit I can find are still too big for small hardware.

Have you thought about taking a regular metal-handled set and putting your own custom wooden handles on them?

Wiha and Craftsman both sell tiny screwdrivers that don’t have knurled metal handles.

Wiha is nicer, Craftsman is cheaper… There are versions of the Craftsman examples in the screwdriver section at Lowes and Home Depot. Kobalt and Husky also both offer interchangeable tip drivers that go down to a 00 or 000 Phillips and 1/16” straight blade.

I think one of the reasons tiny screwdrivers aren’t made with “normal” handles, is to prevent the user from applying too much torque and damaging the screw or threads.

Eyeglass rerpair kits come with an assortment of screws and 2 or 3 small screw drivers with plastic handles including a philips.

Look for them in the Jewelry department.
