Does anybody else receive a constant stream of spam, apparently from thisoldworkshop.com?

Daily I’m receiving emails informing me of ”notification to inform you that there is a new blog posted on the site.”_ All of the supposed posts are by a user named albertsee70 and appear to come from “Admin” at thisoldworkshop.com (lancer@thisoldworkshop.com)

How in the world can I get this to stop???

I’ve emailed Lance ( lance@thisoldworkshop.com ) multiple times, asking him to stop the spam, asking to remove me from their forums, and just plain being a pain in the butt.

Response has been….nothing.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Haven’t received any.

Usually at the bottom of those emails in fine print are instructions to have your name removed from the mailing list. Otherwise, mark it as spam so it goes straight to the trash.

Get an E-Mail Blocker on your Server! OR Add them to “Blocked” in your e-mail if you have one.

No instructions to unsubscribe. I’ve tried emailing Lance for the last couple of months, but no response. Isn’t the webmaster also a member here? Hoping to get through to him somehow…

As Monte said, mark it as spam/junk mail and your computer will filter it for you.

I’m no interweb master by any stretch of the imagination but from what I have been told when you respond to an unsolicited e-mail it only serves to prove to them that your e-mail address is legit. I no loner respond to them and simply mark them as spam and go about my day.

Never, ever respond to an unsolicited email. Let the filters trash it. Otherwise you get put on a list and sold around the world. You become the stuff spam is made from. Trust me, I’m a doctor….well, 20 some years in IT network security, anyway…let the filters move it somewhere it’ll die….

Yes, I am getting them too and delete them immediately. That site hasn’t been updated in almost a year, so I believe it may be in limbo somewhere. They were publishing old copies of Deltagram, but that stopped over a year ago and when I wrote to them, they said they were experiencing some family problems. So I wouldn’t expect an answer to you messages.

Hey, I have been getting those too. Went on the website and couldn’t figure out how to make it stop. Dang, was hoping there would be an answer here.
