Pass on them as a food and crop for farming.

Yep, this is why the GOP wants to defund the USDA. Corporate America doesn’t want to be fined for having bugs in the food supply, so they will now promote “bugs as food” on America. Problem solved, the good old crony-capitalistic way…

To each his own, but that is pretty damned disgusting. Like Monte…I believe I’ll have to pass.

That’s right, Mike. Who needs food stamps when the poor are already surrounded by a viable source of protein?

Greg: With all the roaches around my house and yard, at $20 per pound, I could quit my day job.

Anyone remember “Incredible Edibles”?? You made plastic bugs with a “ThingMaker” which was a little electric burner. You poured the edible liquid plastic “goop” into metal molds and cooked them until the were solid on the “ThingMaker”. It had different molds for different bugs. Then you could pop the bugs out of the molds and eat them. I had the non edible version called “Creepy Crawlers”. Made by Mattel.

grizzman… very wet and rainy…the Kentucky show was supposed to be 3 days. Friday was a nice day and we did very well and made some nice money after expenses. Saturday was an increasingly rainy day the show ended early. The promoters also told everyone that they cancelled Sunday because of severe storm forecasts and flooding.
Carol and I met Big Al (Boxguy) and Jerry (Maplerock) and Jerry’s wife Linda. The 5 of us went out to dinner and had a really enjoyable time.

If it would have been a complete 3 day show with great weather we would have had a fantastic show. I also got a deposit yesterday from someone who was at the show and wants a custom piece.
