Those of you who are not familiar with this story read my previous post at:

Marc and Alibaba made good on their promises of protecting the buyers and this morning I had a full refund of the purchase price in my bank account.

Of course buying equipment direct from China with out any intermediary is a little risque but Alibaba’s buyer protection certainly makes it much less so.
My experience prove it.
I recommend that you visit Alibaba woodworking machine tool section.
If you are willing to take a chance, the prices are incredible.

I know that I shall buy from Alibaba again.(Since birth,I am risk taker at the core)
Thank you for reading.

I have looked at the site several times and am turned off by the risk each time. Money is tight, and I have been burnt a few times taking risks. It is one thing to get the glare, from the wife, for spending money on something you can use. It is a whole different experience to tell her you got screwed.

I noticed many times in the past that it pays to raise our voices.
We have to be polite and courteous but firm.
I noticed that in the USA much more than in Europe people hesitate to raise their voice and to be heard.
I know that my wife very rarely says anything (read complain).
She now has some issues with Verizon, I am the one who goes to “complain” (negotiate ) for her.
In the past, several times I had to use Better Business Bureau, I had full satisfaction every time.
I do not encourage anyone to complain just to complain but if you know that you are in your right, say something.
I fully realize that in this case Marc made the difference, yet if I had no posted something about my problem on LJs nothing would have happen (by the way thank you also to Google alerts)
