Bought this the other day, seems complete and in excellent condition. It is a sweetheart type. I never had one with the fine adjustment on the fence. Really useful.
I paid $125 seems like a good deal.
Thoughts?

The only thing you are missing is the original screwdriver, which was pretty useless in the configuration they used. All told, though, I’d say you got a reasonable deal and a very solid working tool.

I want it. I want it. I want it.
Good haul.
Do those darned things come with instructions?
Seems like they are a complete WWing system, but w/o a guide book…...?
Wish I had that setup.

Very nice find and a good price. You can find manuals for combination planes on this page. :)

Well.. you are missing the original box, which adds some value to the ensemble. It looks like you scored a very nice example! Congrats, use it well!

I’d say you got a good deal. Not outstanding, but certainly a little below “market value” so to speak. Looks to be in fairly good shape already. Nice score.

I started looking for one today and want to know what a fair price to pay for one is. I want to use it so I do not care about a box or original screw driver and what not. I want one that is in excellent working order.

What is a fair price?

You can find manual reprints on the web. The forty five and the fifty five are more than a little “fussy”. If you don’t mind that They do work …Klickitat. With patience you can find them on the bay for less tan a hundred without the box. Sweetheart models bring more
