Topic tags/keywords: makita 2030 repair replacement parts

I need to order replacement retaining clips for a Makita 2030 12” planer. Ereplacementparts.com says those are discontinued but the 2030n clips look like they would work. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/blade-holder-320-p-27046.html

Can anyone verify that from experience or is there a way for me to know before ordering?

Thanks for the help!

I thought I would post an update here. The 2030n clips do work. They are the exact same stamp but they are about a half inch too long. Had to saw off that little extra length with a hacksaw. The extra length is all on the jointer side of the clips.

Works great.
