I finally got away from the shop and have a four day break from sawdust and business stuff. It’s wonderful being back in East Tennessee and looking out the window of my Dad’s house at the Smokey Mountains. Why I left this paradise for Atlanta will always remain a mystery to me.

I hope every one has a wonderful break and don’t eat too much today. Regards!

And while you’re there, will you be seeking out a source for some cheap lumber straight from the mill to haul home? As I recall from a backpacking trip some years ago, the oak trees grow pretty thick in the Smokey Mountains.
