I don’t have a great use for dividers but on occasion could find them useful for small precise measurements or dividing angles. I don’t want to spend a lot on them so was considering EKG calipers ( http://www.amazon.com/Prestige-46-EKG-Caliper/dp/B00062N428/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hi_1 ) which Amazon has for $6.93. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Harbor Freight has a good deal on dividers also.

Seems like a good idea, but would look for something that be changed to hold a pencil or leads. Check out a chain craft store like Michaels. I use a drafting kit that I got from my father.

I find them regularly at garage/estate sales. I probably have a couple dozen nice Starretts, Brown and Sharpe, etc. and they’re never more than $1
