Hello all thought if share my incredibly scary Friday night. A young man high on narcotics drove into my living room just barely missing my son sleeping on the couch by the wall. Luckily were all okay, as for the 17 year old, let’s just say he’s going and away for real long time. In other words, cherish everything dear to you. It could be gone in the blink of an eye. I’m so glad my son is perfectly fine, as is my wife and I.

Doesn’t get much scarier than that, glad your family was unscathed.

Well we moved our computers and my guitar stuff over here to my inlaws. Not really sure whats going to happen next.

We are recently married, and as a gift, our inlaws offered us 1 year rent free so we could save towards a house. But a recent offering may have us moving sooner than we thought. They said we can take as long as we need to save towards a house and move in now.

The plus is, they have a woodshop already, IT HAS HEAT! I can work all winter long. Will take some cleaning and such, but much better than at my current house. The only reason we we’re even renting the house we’re at is due to the garage really. My wife hated it, she was always fearful of a car running into the house and look what happened…

I hope the kid gets his ass handed to him.

I was raised with the saying “everything happens for a reason”. It took a while, but at some point I actually started to believe it. Good luck to you and your family.

Yeah, who knows…me and my mother in law we’re talking about the shop possibilities. Who ever owned the place before them actually had dust collection installed and all that.

They have a bunch of power tools, chop saw, table saw, RAS etc. But I’m sure it will work. Way more room then i have now. PLus there is an upstairs portion that could be used. So we’ll see.

Heck of a way to start the weekend. Good to hear you guys are safe. As far as the idiot, he gets what he has coming.
