I’ve been trying to make a vase or something out of a piece of wood but when i try to turn it after i get it screwed on to the lathe and get it turing. the stock wobbles and makes ovals does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Do you have this on the exact center? Are you just guessing as to where the center is? Did you cut the corners on a 45 before trying to use them on the lathe?

well i already had it slandered before i tried to hollow it out the middle. i didnt find exact center i cause that could be the problem
