In South Dakota, it’s not unusual to get some snow in October. This is a bit much.

Friday morning

Saturday morning can you see the pickup? It hasn’t moved since the last picture

About 7 feet deep in back of the house

Since we expected “some” of this, I set up to pour epoxy on matching coffee tables I am making for a customer. Did I mention that I have a cat?

GOOD GRIEF! That is way too much snow for anywhere in October. Meanwhile on the east cost we are having record highs. Someone has got to have a chat with Mother Nature.
Keep safe.

WOW. Better you than me!

Too bad about the footprint. That’s why people should have dogs! LOL

Holy cow, Monte.

I’m laughing up here in Canada – beautiful day and the leaves are gorgeous. No snow yet. But it’s coming…

Don’t think anyone will be pheasant hunting this week end—too bad! I love SD this time of the year, but that is a little more snow than I’d enjoy. Keep safe and best to you and yours this weekend. Enjoy your shop time.

Good thing the gulf stream takes that stuff North East. I’m hoping it will miss me. Do you have heat in your shop?

Only heat in shop is when I have someone to talk to! :-)

Makes Louisiana and Hurricanes seem like the better deal. Don’t like that much cold. Stay warm.

As much wood as you have…If I remember you were offered a stand of trees? How about a really efficient wood burner? I thought about it and my insurance would not allow it. I also am considered to be w/in city limits. hey ya still have the internet? I’d better not talk to loud. Later!

I think if we’re prepared to hunker down. to much snow is preferable to a hurricane?

Time to warm up the snow shovel and the neighbors snow plow. So far we just have snow in the high
country, but that does include a few passes that were requiring chains on semi trucks and towing units.
you might get a chinook next week, or that white stuff might stick around until spring. Are you stocked
up on beer and cat food?

Still mighty pretty though.
